GREENSPEED TRIKES - why they are the best all over the world
1.Comfort
Greenspeed seats were designed by a Chiropractor to give the best back support. Furthermore they are laced with elastic cord, so that the seat conforms to YOUR back, AND provides insulation from road shock. The outdoor furniture material provides ventilation and cooling to the back, and the chrome-moly frame and special Greenspeed “Scorcher” tyres provide a soft ride. Plus the handle bars are easy to use and the steering is effortless.
2.Performance
Greenspeed CEO Ian Sims designed and built successful mid-engined Sports Cars, 240 kph Racing Sidecars, and racing electric vehicles before he designed the 1st Greenspeed trike in 1990. Particular attention has been paid to the steering, thus Greenspeed handling and roadholding are 2nd to none.
3.Durability
In 1994 two Greenspeed trikes were ridden 15,000 kms right round Australia by Val Wright and Eric Butcher. While many bikes doing this trip suffered broken wheels and frames, and most needed complete transmission replacements, the only repairs needed to the Greenspeed trikes over this distance were replacement of the gear cables. Greenspeed trikes have also been ridden from China across Asia and Europe to the UK without needing major repair.
4. Research
Greenspeed conducts ongoing research and development, to continually improve our trikes, from the ground up, and to develop new trikes. One aspect of this research was the development of a special tyre for trikes, the Greenspeed Scorcher. This tyre has the lowest rolling resistance and best ride of any tyres on the market, plus outstanding grip.
5.Efficiency
With a laid back seat, the air resistance is reduced, making it easier to pedal into head winds. Special chain pulleys are used to reduce friction, and the special tyres make the trike roll very easily.
6.Service
