Brona is our very good recumbent friend and he decided to fill his longest dream about Iceland trip. In his sixtiest he saved enough money, prepared himself and flown to Keflavik. The trike is equiped by 2" wide tires for sand surface, windshield from AZUB as a wind and rain protection, homemade very long rack and some other customizations.

The Greenspeed has had big success during the SPEZI show in Germany this weekend (April 26th and 27th 2008). On the booth together with AZUB there were introduced all trikes incl. GTT and Anura SL. Visitors had also chance to test the trikes outside the halls and on test parcour. Greenspeed had also its own team of racers during the trake race. Unfornatenuly no one has won, but all of them had a great time and with teddy bears on helmets they managed to make a smile on each visitor's face!

SPEZI SHOW IN GERMERSHEIM - April 26th and 27th 2008
Let's visit us in our booth on Spezi show in Germany. We will show all range of Greenspeed trikes incl. Anura SL. All trikes will be available for testing too. On the test parcour there will be also GTT tandem. Our booth is located in the hall 2.
Bentrideronline.com has published a review of new Greenspeed GT3 series II. If you order the GT3 from Greenspeed Europe you will already get the series II. In Europe here are only available non-metalic colors. Standard black and red, optionaly others. The standard seat mesh color is black. If you want to have disc brakes on GT series you have to order the GT5 which is a little bit higher version of GT3. This is just a little mistake of the author.
Readers may remember this research from Bath University in which Dr Ian Walker showed that
"drivers pass closer when overtaking cyclists wearing helmets than when overtaking bare-headed cyclists,
increasing the risk of a collision." Belatedly I can report that Australian recumbent makers Greenspeed
have provided Dr Walker with a Greenspeed GT3 trike, presumably so that he can investigate how much
space drivers give when overtaking a recumbent trike rider. It will be interesting to see whether
the common perception among recumbent trike riders - that drivers leave more room when overtaking
than they do for 'normal' bikes - is borne out by the research.

Australian trike manufacturer Greenspeed is very known for its high quality trikes.
Last couple of years they very available in Europe with some little dificulties and
for quite high price. At the start of the year 2007 there has been based a Greenspeed-Europe branch
which is operating by czech company Azub. Thanks to this cooperatin the service will be much faster
and also the prices are lower than before. First trikes from european distributor will be available during the June 2007.
